'Cosmic Connections' has been a long time coming and I want to thank all those who were constant in their requests for it, otherwise it might never have been birthed.
The follow-up to my memoir
So Where's My Happy Ever After? it was originally called
The Constant Companion and the concept I had in mind was a book of weekly readings. Although the sample of
The Constant Companion found in the back of
So Where's My Happy Ever After was written this way and people seemed to enjoy it, I quickly found the format too restrictive for what I really wanted to express.
I found myself in a dilemma. I attempted to finish the book using the weekly readings structure and became disenchanted in the process. I attempted several new versions but didn't like them either.
As is always the case, life was also taking me on some interesting journeys during this time. I began a study of esoteric astrology and I also fell in love. None of this was accidental, of course, and it explained to me why the delay had been so necessary. The Universe had more to teach me before I could offer this material — and mostly the teaching had to do with surrender.
When I am surrendered to Divine Love, and allow Its wonderful magnetic force to flow through me, then my life is transformed. When I am surrendered to Divine Intelligence and allow Its words to flow through me, then they have a power and majesty that can heal.
This course is a result of that surrender. I hope it will offer you and every participant the opportunity to move gently, and your own pace, through a process of change.

During the writing of this course I was inspired to make further changes, including changing the title to
Cosmic Connections: Finding Love in the Age of Aquarius. I wanted a title that reflected the celestial magic that true love really is. For most people there is a once-in-a-lifetime connection with a beloved Other that is so powerful that, once experienced, nothing else comes close.
The timing of that love is not up to us — it is written in the Cosmos; hence 'Cosmic Lovers'. However, it is up to us to prepare ourselves, to do what we have come to do, to learn what we have come to learn, to become the person who would attract the sort of lover we seek. This course is all about that preparation. It is about leaving the past behind, healing the "wounds" that are an inevitable part of this journey on earth, learning to be authentic and to express authentic emotions.
Most of all, it is about acknowledging that we are spiritual beings on a Divine Mission of self-discovery and our partnerships must reflect this. When we love "God" by whatever name we call Him or Her, and love ourselves and this life, then we attract our Cosmic Lover. This is the "Cosmic Threesome" that is ours by Divine Right.
